A symbol of everlasting love and craftsmanship, our Copper Rose is a timeless piece of handcrafted art. Forged by hand in our countryside studio using traditional blacksmithing techniques, each rose is carefully shaped from copper and mild steel, with individually formed petals that give every bloom its own unique character.
Unlike real flowers, this rose will never fade—making it a meaningful gift for anniversaries, weddings, memorials, or simply as a lasting token of appreciation.
Elegant, tactile, and rich in tone, the Copper Rose blends natural beauty with artistic skill, offering a heartfelt gesture that will be treasured for years to come.
Each Copper Rose we create at Charles Elliott Sculpture is a lasting symbol of love, handcrafted with care, precision, and traditional blacksmithing skill. Forged entirely by hand at our Wolds Farm studio, these roses are more than ornamental—they are sculptural works of art, born from fire and made to last a lifetime.
We begin with flat copper sheet, selected for its warm tone and natural ability to develop a rich, evolving patina. Each petal is individually cut, hand-shaped, and curled using hammers, anvils, and flame—mimicking the delicate textures and organic flow of real rose petals. The stem and leaves are formed and forged separately, then carefully welded into place to create a beautifully balanced composition.
No two roses are ever exactly alike. Each bears the unique marks of its maker and the subtle variations that define true handcrafted work. Once assembled, the rose is cleaned and finished—sometimes polished to a gentle shine, or left untreated to age gracefully and deepen in character over time. Whether given as a romantic gesture, featured in wedding or memorial arrangements, or cherished as a personal keepsake, our Copper Roses are made to last forever—an enduring expression of love, strength, and traditional British craftsmanship.
