To commission is to begin with a conversation rather than a catalogue. Together we shape a sculpture around your space, your intention and the way you want to feel each time you see it, an original that exists nowhere else and is yours alone.
Charles designs and makes every commission himself, with his small team, from raw material to final finish and on-site installation. Nothing is outsourced, and nothing is lost in translation. It is the difference between buying a sculpture and commissioning one.

Discovery
We begin by understanding your space, your idea and how the finished piece should feel. A call or a studio visit, in confidence, with no obligation.
Design
Charles develops the design through drawing and, where it helps, a scale model in clay. You see and approve it before any making begins.
Making & installation
Your piece is crafted by hand in our studio, cast in bronze at our UK foundry where required, then delivered and installed anywhere in the world.

How much does a commission cost?
Commissions begin from around £25,000 for private work and rise with scale, material and complexity; landmark and public-art works range higher, into seven figures. We give a clear, considered figure before any making begins, and every project value is treated in confidence.
How long does a commission take?
Most commissions take from three to nine months. Larger cast pieces and public-art installations take longer. We agree a realistic programme with you at the design stage and keep to it.
Will I see the design before it is made?
Always. Charles develops the design through drawings and, where it helps, a scale model in clay. Nothing is made until you have seen and approved it.
Do you deliver and install worldwide?
Yes. We have delivered across the UK, Europe, the USA and the Middle East, handling logistics, foundations, installation and insurance, and installing the work with our own team.
