Charles Elliott Sculpture’s understated yet sleek Garden Planters are perfect for any space, custom-made to suit all & every need – truly bespoke for design, detail & material thicknesses.
Handmade inch by inch within our British studio, enabling us to create any shapes, sizes, depths & widths required, with an array of finishes available – from the simple yet stunning Rustic Patina all the way to luxurious powder-coated finishes, available from the entire RAL colour code.
These planters can have curved, straight, folded, or even detailed lip edges. The outer can be entirely smooth or detailed as you wish, so, they really are the perfect addition for any style of home or garden.
At Charles Elliott Sculpture, each garden planter is handcrafted to combine sculptural elegance with lasting durability — built not only to enhance your outdoor space, but to age beautifully with the landscape around it. Our process begins at our countryside workshop at Wolds Farm, where we work with high-quality British steel, chosen for its strength, character, and resilience. Each planter is hand-cut, shaped, and assembled using traditional blacksmithing techniques, ensuring clean, structured lines and a robust, architectural finish.
We offer a range of forms — from tall and slender to wide and grounding — all designed to complement planting schemes while standing strong as sculptural features in their own right. After fabrication, each piece is hand-finished in your chosen patina:
– Rustic Patina: a rich, naturally weathering surface that softens over time and blends seamlessly with planting.
– Hot Zinc Galvanised: a sleek, silver-toned coating that offers maximum weather resistance and a more contemporary edge.
– Hand-Painted or Powder-Coated: for clients seeking a bolder, more artistic finish.
Every planter is fully weatherproof and drainage-ready, making them practical as well as beautiful — suitable for everything from formal topiary to wild, naturalistic plantings. Whether used as a standalone piece or in a set, Charles Elliott Sculpture garden planters offer an enduring way to frame space, elevate planting, and add timeless British craftsmanship to any outdoor setting.
