Our Oak Leaf Sphere is a sculpture of elemental presence — a form that holds space with quiet authority. First conceived in steel by Charles, the design was always destined for bronze — the ultimate material of luxury and permanence, rich in copper and steeped in tradition. Individually realised in bronze, the oak leaves converge into a harmonious sphere, a symbol of strength, continuity and unspoken poetry. With a choice of refined Verdigris Patination, Traditional Dark Bronze Finish and Polished Bronze Finish the surface carries tonal depth that evolves with light and weather, inviting discovery over years, not moments. This is sculpture as lasting presence — an enduring companion to gardens, estates and curated landscapes.
Sizes & Proportions: Available in three refined scales: 100 cm, 150 cm, and 200 cm (approximately 39 in, 59 in, and 79 in), each carefully proportioned to retain the sculpture’s balance and presence.
Bespoke dimensions may also be commissioned, including 65 cm (26 in) and 125 cm (49 in), with additional larger custom sizes available by request.
For Charles, the oak leaf is more than inspiration — it is a marker of resilience and heritage, an emblem of nature’s quiet authority. From early study sketches to the final composed form, each Oak Leaf Sphere is shaped with thoughtful restraint and clarity of intention. Charles and his team bring it to life with a sensitivity to proportion and material that transcends mere representation. The bronze surface, subtly nuanced and tactile, responds to its surroundings — shadow and tone creating a tapestry of reflections that feel both ancient and immediate. This is a sculpture that unfolds in the mind as much as in the eye.
Bronze has always been the language of enduring sculpture — a material capable of holding not only form, but the memory of touch, time, and atmosphere. Warm, resilient, and rich in tradition, it has been used for centuries to create works intended to outlast their makers. The Oak Leaf Sphere is realised in high-quality bronze, carefully selected for its depth, warmth, and nuanced response to patination, allowing the surface to develop character rather than uniformity.
Produced in limited edition and available in a thoughtfully considered range of sizes, each sculpture is crafted to exist with quiet confidence within its setting. It is conceived not as a fleeting statement, but as an heirloom work — one that rewards long-term engagement, revealing subtle shifts in tone and presence as light, season, and environment change around it.
Made to last a lifetime and beyond, the Oak Leaf Sphere anchors its setting with quiet authority. Rooted in tradition and guided by intention, it stands as a testament to the enduring language of sculpture — a work conceived to be lived with, remembered, and passed through generations.

The sculpture is available in three considered sizes: 100 cm, 150 cm, and 200 cm (approximately 39 in, 59 in, and 79 in).
Each scale offers a distinct sense of presence while preserving the integrity and balance of the form.
Bespoke dimensions may also be commissioned, including 65 cm (approximately 26 in) and 125 cm (approximately 49 in), with further custom sizing available upon request.
The bronze is patinated using traditional hot methods, an ancient process in which heat and carefully controlled chemical solutions are used to draw colour into the surface, creating depth and meaning beyond appearance alone. Applied by hand in carefully layered stages, each patination responds to the form of the sculpture and continues to evolve over time.
Patination options include Verdigris, a traditional dark bronze, and a polished bronze surface, alongside contemporary painted patination in soft whites, refined yellows, and nuanced blues. Each surface is entirely unique, shaped by hand, material, and moment, ensuring that no two sculptures — nor any individual element within them — are ever the same, and that every work exists as a personal and singular edition.
Also available in Steel Material, with Various Finishes: oxidised steel patina, hot dipped zinc finish or professionally painted patination
